Keyless Locker Solutions
There are many different keyless locker solutions on the market, but which ones are right for your business, school or venue?
It’s important to get the functionality of the lock right for the purpose you require, so to do this we class the locks as either Single User (Private Mode) or Multiple User (Public Mode).
Here’s a brief guide to help you decide which keyless locking mechanism you should choose.
Padlock Fittings (Multiple User Public Mode)
The cheapest option is to have a Padlock fitting installed on each door. Padlock fittings are also sometimes called Hasp & Staple locks. These are classed as Multiple User Public Mode locks and allow the user to choose an empty locker and lock using their own padlock or a padlock provided by the venue. This type of lock can be fitted to any of our Lockers - just select 'padlock fitting' from the Lock Option drop down menu.
Mechanical Combination Locks (Single User Private Mode)
These are identified by a 3 or 4 digit rotating wheel that can be assigned to an individual in single user private mode. These locks are not suitable for the general public and work by assigning a locker to a pupil or staff member on a permanent or semi-permanent basis.
Mechanical combination locks often come with a master key override facility which will assist you in finding lost codes and resetting the lock.
Mechanical Combination Locks can be fitted to many of our Lockers - simply select 'mechanical combination lock' from the Lock Option drop down menu.

Digital Combination Locks (Single User Private Mode)
These locks are versatile - you can set them up to be either Private Mode or Public Mode. In this example, we have set them up in single user private mode so that it is assigned to an individual on a permanent or semi-permanent basis. The Digital Combination locks will have a digital service code to gain instant access to the locker, a master override code to activate different features of the lock and in some cases a master override key facility is available. This unit has a 10 year battery life and can be retro fitted to existing lockers.
Digital Combination Locks (Multiple User Public Mode)
This lock can be set up as either Multiple user or Single user by accessing the features in the master code settings. Once set in public mode it will remain open, ready for the next user. The lock is operated with a 4 digit code which is chosen by the user and turned to the locked position. When the user returns to open the locker again, they enter the same 4 digit code to unlock. The lock then forgets that code and is ready for the next user. The Digital Combination locks have a digital service code to gain instant access to the locker, a master override code to activate different features of the lock and in some cases a master override key facility is available. This unit has a 10 year battery life and can be retro fitted to existing lockers.

Electronic Keyless Payment Lockers (Multiple User Public Mode Only)
Touch Screen Electronic Keyless Payment Lockers that take coin and credit card payments are now available. These lockers are only suitable to public venues with a large footfall of locker users. Robust enough to go outside under a canopy, they are made from galvanised steel with IP65 rated waterproof touch screens. These lockers connect to the internet and can produce locker usage reports along with dial in remote support 24 hours a day. These lockers operate in 15 different languages as standard. They always remain closed unless the locker is being opened by the user for access. This is unique to any other public mode locker system and improves sight security by not allowing anyone to leave items in the locker when the locker is not in use. This also stops members of the public leaving rubbish in the unused locker compartments.
These Electronic Keyless Payment Lockers can be supplied free, installed free and maintained for life on a revenue share agreement to qualifying venues.
Venue criteria can be assessed on an individual basis but in general it would be any site that has high levels of locker usage, especially where customers have to use a locker such as a trampoline park, inflatable park, theme parks or water parks. We class these venues as Active Locker venues.
We also supply to sites such as Museums and Zoos for example, where users have the facility to use a locker if they need to. As the user doesn’t have to use a locker, we class these as Passive Locker venues and require at least 120,000 visitors per year to the venue.
Once installed these lockers will provide a facility to your guests as well as eradicating existing locker maintenance costs such as broken locks, lost keys etc. as they are maintained for life under the agreement. Best of all your venue gets to keep a percentage of the gross revenue which in many cases is incremental to the site.
