Locker Lock Functions

At C S Storage we try to offer a variety of lock solutions for our lockers. However, trying to find the right solution can sometimes feel daunting. So to help, we've listed the most popular lock types below with a description of their features and uses to try and make life easier. We have also created a Lock Functions Tab on each of the product pages with the relevant information specifically for that product.

Probe Lockers

CAM Lock (Type A)

Mastered Micro sprung 10 disc lock, featuring a massive 3000 serial combinations. Supplied with 2 keys per lock. "36" Series Master Keys are available on our Locker Accessories page.

 

Padlock Fitting (Type B)

Attractive design allowing easy use of padlock. Padlocks are not included but can be added to your order. Maximum padlock shackle diameter is 5mm to 7mm. This fitting is also used as a catch turn in schools where no lock is required by younger users.

Radial Pin Lock (Type C)

With 10,000 combinations and designed for higher levels of security. Supplied with 2 keys per lock. Probe Radial Master Keys are available via our Locker Accessories page.

 

Combination Lock (Type D)

A simple and effective 3 digit code, making losing keys a thing of the past. master override available and sold separately. Perfect for individual users but not recommended for public or multi-usr applications. Master Key available via our Locker Accessories page.

 

Re-Programmable Combination Lock (Type E)

Easy to use with 10,000 combinations. Re-programmed using a number find shim (sold separately, 1 required per installation). Not available on laminate faced lockers. Not recommended for multi-user applications. Master Key available via our Locker Accessories page.

Digital Combination Lock (Type L)

Single user supplied as standard but public (forgets code after use) or multi-user option is available at no extra cost (please specify at point of ordering) - please contact our sales team should you require this. 40,000 combinations - emergency access via service key. Battery life for up to 50,000 operations.

 

BeCode Evo+ (Type M)

Completely keyless locking. Up to 8 programmable users or it can forget the code when opened for public use. Battery operated with 100,000 locking cycles. Over 10 Billion combinations. Master Function and Reset Function. RFID versions are available - please contact the sales team on 01772 322634.

 

Re-Programmable Combination Lock (Type K)

Easy to use with reset button and 10,000 combinations. Emergency override key for instant access is sold separately. not recommended for public or multi-user applications.

 

Coin Return Lock (Type H)

The most popular public or multi-user solution and comes with 2 keys as standard. The compartment remains open and the lock retains the key when not in use. 50p, € or token variations of this lock are available (subject to quantity). Please call our sales team on 01772 322634. Coin Retain Lock (Type H)

If you need revenue from your lockers, this is for you. Comes with 2 keys as standard. The compartment remains open and the lock retains the key when not in use. The lock retains the £1 coin in the lockable box under the lock. Elite Lockers

Cam Lock

Mastered Cam Locks are fitted as standard with 4000 serial combinations. Supplied with 2 keys per lock. "4R" Master keys are available via our Locker Accessories page. Fast key or lock replacement service in 1-2 working days.

Padlock Fitting

Available as a free fitted option at the point of order. Padlocks are not included but can be supplied. Padlock shackle size required - 4mm to 6.5mm. This fitting is also used as a turn catch in school where no lock is required for younger users.

 

4 Digit Mechanical Lock with Master Key

Easily set and re-programmed for new users. Supplied with emergency master key and number finding shim. 10,000 combinations. Lock instructions supplied. Best used where no keys are required but not recommended for multi-user or public use.

£1 Coin Return Lock

The most popular public or multi-user solution and comes with 2 keys as standard. "V" series Master Keys are available via our Locker Accessories page. The compartment remains open and the lock retains the key when not in use.
